Photography is another passion of mine that I peruse along side my paintings wherever possible. Aside from the raw personal enjoyment of taking photographs I believe that it really helps me to look at composition in a totally different manner to that of my painting. I love working in traditional silver print methods of photography but recently equipment and facilities have not been on my side, therefore all of the work displayed is digital. I am massively attracted to the works of Sebastian Selgardo and Robert Park-Harrison, in particular the documentation and untainted investigation into the working class, as seen in the works of Selgardo, is of constant fascination to me.
